The interior decor of Salmon House was impeccable, blending traditional and modern elements seamlessly. The house felt like a home away from home, with comfortable beds and even dressing gowns provided. The fully equipped kitchen and added amenities like a washing machine and tumble dryer made our stay convenient and comfortable. The location was also fantastic, with a beautiful walk along the Bay and the town center just a short distance away. The private driveway and enclosed garden added an extra touch of privacy and security. Salmon House exceeded our expectations and we would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
While the walk into town took about 10-15 minutes, it wasn't a major inconvenience for us. Additionally, there was some noise from the nearby power station when the wind blew in that direction, but the modest price of the accommodation made up for it.

Great value for the money, the Salmon House Villa was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal, with a beach just steps away and a short walk to the town center. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, even providing a thoughtful welcome basket of goodies.
The morning meal could benefit from a larger selection of utensils and cookware for a more extensive breakfast menu.

The warm welcome and welcome pack were a lovely touch. The house was tastefully decorated, modern, and had all the facilities for a great self-catered holiday. The large garden with ample parking was a bonus. The quiet location with views of the beach and the sea was perfect. Easy access to Stornoway town centre and nearby heritage sites, countryside, and beaches.
While the broken crockery was a minor concern, it was addressed and resolved. The only other downside was the initial confusion with the check-in process, as the promised meet and greet didn't happen.
